Colleen is Vice President, Career Management Principal, leading the Career Transition and Career Management Consulting practices in Canada.  She partners with corporate clients to develop customized solutions and programs for their employees, ensuring they are supported and empowered throughout their career lifecycle.  

Coaching and Consulting Experience

As an accomplished Career Management Professional, Colleen has a proven track record in positioning candidates and corporate clients to win in the changing world of work, building on her extensive business and consulting background. Coaching individuals from a variety of industries and functional specialties, she has assisted them through the transition process to develop tailored search and marketing strategies.  

Colleen is a passionate and empowering coach with the ability to motivate and encourage individuals to create a personal brand that highlights their unique value proposition.  Known for her flexible approach and the ability to leverage creativity and innovation, she has been instrumental in designing and delivering some of Right Management’s core sessions focused on the concept of “internally marketing yourself as a candidate” as part of Right’s Career Mobility program. She has also taken a lead role in the launch of one of Right’s innovative and interactive web-based interviewing tools, iView. Right Management is pleased to be the first firm to offer this innovative tool in the Career Transition marketplace.

Colleen is recognized for her engaging and interactive presentation style and has delivered key note presentations for diverse audiences across industries, sectors and geographies. Most recently she was honoured to deliver the Convocation Address for the students from the business faculty at George Brown College.

Business/Organizational Leadership Experience

In addition to her career in Career Coaching, Colleen spent over 12 years in the consulting and executive search industry with small boutique firms as well as International organizations.  During this time, she led searches for senior executives and business leaders across a variety of industries and functional specialties.

Colleen’s not-for-profit leadership experience highlights proven success in managing and motivating diverse teams to deliver exceptional programs and achieve personal and professional goals. Her strong background in leadership development originated with Junior Chamber International, a 400,000 member organization focused on developing leadership of young business people.  There she held national and international roles including National President where she led a Board of Directors representing all Canadian geographies.  Colleen is an International Graduate of the JCI Training Institute and has delivered training programs around the world.  

Education and Training

Colleen earned her designation as a Certified Management Consultant and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario. Colleen was recently recognized for her work with George Brown College with an Honourary Graduate Certificate, Human Resources Management.
